The Glimpse 1 : at North Head in Devonport these amazing war barracks provide a photographers delight. As with many photos in this series, The Glimpse 1 & 2 tell a story with subtle detail. 

Inspiration: the 'mixed media scenes' collection are a series of rustic architectural and landscape photographs inspired by the few remaining war barracks & our rugged terrain.

Process : the Glimpse 1 & 2 are HDR photos (high dynamic range) and produced by merging 3 exposures thus gaining the full dynamic range of detail in the dark areas through to the light areas. These photos have been processed to look rustic with a historic feel achieved with muted tones, subtle texture overlays and sepia filters.

Printing & framing options :  With canvas orders this artwork is printed to the edges of the front face of the canvas and the edges are left white. Please request black edges if you prefer. Order timing : Allow 2-2 1/2 weeks for processing except for 'B' orders which take 3-3 1/2 weeks. Shipping adds 2-3 working days. Please note that all orders are printed & framed once a customer has purchased & only a small amount of stock is held. If you should require an item sooner, a RUSH option is available on 'A' - stretched canvases & 'C' - rolled canvases for an extra $10 or please enquire if one is held in stock.
