With over 25 years in professional photography, Lucy G combines her background in architecture and design with a passion for creative storytelling. Starting with a homemade pinhole camera during her architecture studies in Auckland, she has since become a self-taught photographic artist.

Her work spans photo-montage, digital painting, multi-layered compositions, and experiments with AI technology. Lucy’s subjects range from florals and New Zealand landscapes to birds and abstract designs. A Master Photographer with the NZIPP, she is known for pushing boundaries and treating photography as an art form with no rules.

Based in Auckland with her husband, two young boys, and two cats, Lucy also finds time to explore ceramics, a therapeutic craft she recently took up.

Lucy specializes in printed glass splashbacks, with her designs adorning homes across New Zealand, Australia, and beyond through her business, Lucy G Splashbacks. Her online shop, Lucy G Design, offers an evolving collection of wall art and large-scale murals. She frequently collaborates with architects and designers, creating uplifting graphics for hospitals, transforming sterile spaces into environments filled with optimism and hope.
